Fox News’ Bill Melugin continues to keep an eye on the crisis at the southern border. This time, the reporter witnessed ICE releasing a large group of single adult males at the San Antonio airport —and according to an ICE source, some have criminal records.
Melugin shared the scene on Twitter:
“NEW: An ICE source tells me the agency has been releasing some illegal immigrants with misdemeanor criminal histories, including assault, DUI, drug possession, & illegal re-entry. ICE did not deny when I asked, telling me all releases are on a “case by case” basis.”

Later, Melugin updated the story, sharing that airport witnesses say this has been “happening for months.”
“NEW: We were on scene as ICE mass released another a large group of single adult male migrants at San Antonio airport this morning. A NGO escorted the men inside. It aired live on @FoxNews. People at the airport told us they’ve seen these mass ICE releases happening for months.”

More than 2 million migrant encounters were logged by U.S. Customs and Border Protection last year. DHS recently confirmed that nearly 50,000 migrants were released into the U.S. unsupervised. GOP Senators continue to draw attention to the crisis —some even calling for Biden’s impeachment.
Rep. Claudia Tenney blasted Biden for his midnight migrant flights:
“This is a complete, aggravated dereliction of duty, which is why last night on Twitter I called for Joe Biden to be impeached and removed. His primary obligation as the commander-in-chief and president of the United States is to enforce our laws, to live up to his oath, to enforce our border security and to tell the truth to the American people,” Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) told “Fox & Friends.
