On Sunday, President-elect Donald Trump told the crowd at Turning Point USA’s America Fest in Phoenix, Arizona that his administration will be ready to go within hours of taking the presidential oath on January 20th, 2025.
“We are going to be fully operational, I would say, by about two o’clock on the 20th,” Trump said to a cheering crowd.
“For those of us standing before you today, I can proudly proclaim that the golden age of America is upon us,” Trump declared, eliciting more cheers from the audience.
Trump said his team will “embark on the most exciting and successful period of reform and renewal in all of American history.” He then brought up the “series of big day one promises” made on the campaign trail.
“And 29 days from now, I plan to keep those promises to the American people,” he said. “And just as we did four years ago, my administration will live by the motto: ‘promises made, promises kept.’”
