Firebrand Senator Elizabeth Warren backtracked on previous comments she made regarding the Immigration and Customs and Enforcement Agency last week; saying the department needs to be “reformed” instead of “abolished.”
Warren was speaking during a fiery debate with her GOP opponent when her harsh rhetoric was called into question.
“I want to see this agency reformed, because an agency that can’t tell the difference in the risk between a 7-year-old girl, between a woman going in for brain cancer surgery, and a terrorist or a criminal, is an agency that is not working,” Warren said. “It is not making us safer, and it sure doesn’t reflect our values.”
ABOLISH ICE? 160 Illegal Immigrants ARRESTED at a SINGLE FACTORY in Texas
At least 160 undocumented workers were detained by ICE agents during a massive sweep this week, with federal officers confirming the illegal immigrants were apprehended at a trailer factory in Texas.
According to ABC News, the “immigration bust” occurred at Load Trail, a trailer manufacturing company with previous violations for hiring undocumented migrants at its Texas facility approximately 100 miles east of Dallas.
“I know I just heard helicopters everywhere and I saw a whole lot of people running and so I turned to run and the first corner I hit I got guns drawn down on me,” said one eyewitness.
“I knew these were clearly illegals. This is not the way we are supposed to be hiring,” said Katrina Berger, the DHS specialist in charge of the sweep. “They told me to keep doing my job — that if they were visited by ICE again, they would simply pay the fine and go on.”
“We’re watching and we’re coming,” she added. “Businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens create an unfair advantage over their competing businesses.”

DEMOCRAT DISASTER: Poll Shows 69% of Americans OPPOSED to Abolishing ICE
A stunning new poll conducted by a longtime Clinton insider may spell disaster for the Democrats heading into the 2018 midterm elections; revealing a whopping majority of Americans are opposed to abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
The survey -conducted by Democratic pollster Mark Penn- shows most voters are in favor of stricter border controls, think those arrested while in the United States illegally should be sent back to their home countries, and largely support ICE agents enforcing federal law.
“Penn polled the newest progressive immigration proposal, the ‘Abolish ICE’ campaign to disband U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Sixty-nine percent of those surveyed (78 percent of Republicans, 59 percent of Democrats, and 73 percent of independents) said ICE should not be abolished, while 31 percent said it should,” writes the Washington Examiner.
A growing number of leading Democrats -including NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, and others- have called for the abolishment of ICE in recent weeks, saying the agency was “broken” and failed to represent the values of the United States.
