WAR IS OVER: Hamas Chief Declares End to War in Gaza, Confident in Trump-brokered Cease-fire: Report

The war is over — Trump’s deal sealed it.

Exiled Hamas chief Khalil Al-Hayya declared Thursday that the war in Gaza has ended, following assurances from the United States and other nations about the impending cease-fire deal brokered by President Donald Trump.

Al-Hayya delivered the long-awaited message as Israel and Hamas signed an agreement to halt fighting and secure the release of the remaining Israeli hostages.

He said Hamas had received guarantees from the U.S., Arab mediators, and Turkey that the bloody conflict had reached a permanent conclusion.

According to Al-Hayya, the deal will also reopen a key crossing with Egypt and lead to the release of all Palestinian women and children held by Israeli authorities.

The two-year war was ignited by Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, which left 1,200 people dead and saw 250 others kidnapped into Gaza.

Roughly 20 living hostages and 28 bodies of slain captives are believed to remain in the territory.
