Entrepreneur and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy turned the tables on debate moderators Kristin Welker and Lester Holt on Wednesday night when he asked them point blank if the Hilly Clinton-Russian Disinformation story was a hoax; he demanded accountability.
Holt asked Ramaswamy why he should be the nominee instead of former President and 2024 frontrunner Donald Trump —and that’s when Ramaswamy unloaded.
After asking for Ronna McDaniel’s resignation for a weak election night result, Ramaswamy shredded the NBC moderators for disinformation.
“This is about the corrupt media establishment,” Ramaswamy said to Welker and Holt. “This is about you and the corrupt media establishment. I’m going to ask you —the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that you pushed on this network for years —was that real or was that Hillary Clinton, made-up disinformation?”
“Answer the question —go,” Ramaswamy said to thunderous applause.
“This is how we take our country back,” Ramaswamy said, calling for accountability.
