Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy spoke with reporters this week regarding his “controversial” conversation with President Trump; confirming there was “no corruption or blackmail” during the phone call.
“Do you think a President is corrupt if he asks a foreign nation to investigate a political rival?” asked Good Morning America.
“This is not corruption, because it was just a phone call,” said Zelenskiy.

The White House refused to cooperate with Congressional Democrats latest impeachment investigation Wednesday; calling their efforts “unconstitutional” and dangerous for the future of the office.
“Your unprecedented actions have left the president with no choice,” said the letter signed by Pat A. Cipollone, the White House counsel. “In order to fulfill his duties to the American people, the Constitution, the executive branch and all future occupants of the office of the presidency, President Trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances.”
“The White House should be warned that continued efforts to hide the truth of the president’s abuse of power from the American people will be regarded as further evidence of obstruction,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said in a statement. “Mr. President, you are not above the law. You will be held accountable.”
The President slammed Congressional Democrats on social media, writing “The Do Nothing Democrats are Con Artists, only looking to hurt the Republican Party and President. Their total focus is 2020, nothing more, and nothing less. The good news is that WE WILL WIN!!!!”

ADAM’S EXCUSE: Schiff Says ‘Everyone Understood’ He was ‘Mocking’ Trump’s Ukraine-Call
Rep. Adam Schiff deflected growing criticism Friday that he intentionally misled lawmakers regarding President Trump’s phone call with the leader of Ukraine; saying “everyone understood” it was a parody.
“Well, do you regret what you called the parody, the use of those phrases during the course of your opening statement?” asked CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
“No. I think everyone understood. And my GOP colleagues may feign otherwise, that when I said, suggested that it was as if the President said, ‘Listen carefully because I’m only going to tell you seven more times’ that I was mocking the President’s conduct, but make no mistake about this. What the President did is of the utmost gravity and the utmost seriousness because it involves such a fundamental betrayal of his oath.”
Blitzer asks Schiff in the most supportive possible way if it was a mistake fabricating dialogue from Trump's Ukraine call.

President Trump called on Rep. Adam Schiff to immediately resign this week; citing his botched “parody” reading of the Commander-in-Chief’s private phone conversation during hearings on Capitol Hill.
“Rep. Adam Schiff fraudulently read to Congress, with millions of people watching, a version of my conversation with the President of Ukraine that doesn’t exist. He was supposedly reading the exact transcribed version of the call, but he completely changed the words to make it sound horrible, and me sound guilty. HE WAS DESPERATE AND HE GOT CAUGHT. Adam Schiff therefore lied to Congress and attempted to defraud the American Public. He has been doing this for two years. I am calling for him to immediately resign from Congress based on this fraud!” posted Trump on Twitter.

“My summary of the president’s call was meant to be at least, part, in parody,” Schiff said after the hearing. “The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course, the president never said, ‘If you don’t understand me I’m going to say it seven more times,’ my point is, that’s the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words.”

BIDEN ON UKRAINE: ‘Want an Example of When a President Abuses His Power… Climate Change’
Former Vice President Joe Biden weighed-in Thursday on the Democrats’ latest push to impeach Donald Trump; bizarrely saying “climate change” is a good example of what happens when a President “abuses his power.”
“If you want to an example of what happens when a president puts his own selfish interests ahead of the national interests — when a president abuses his power — I’d say this is Exhibit A. Want another example? Climate change,” said Biden.

Biden’s comments come hours after a group of climate activists in London accidentally doused themselves with 475 gallons of “fake blood.”
“BREAKING: @ExtinctionR and @CClimateAction activists use fire engine to spray 1,800 litres of fake blood over the front of the Treasury in London,” posted Occupy London just before the mishap.

“Four people have since been arrested for criminal damage in relation to the incident,” reports the Evening Standard. “While eventually successful, the operation did not get off to the best start when the climate activists lost control of the hose.”
