Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) absolutely blasted President Joe Biden’s two trillion dollar American Rescue Plan during a recent Budget Committee meeting; Boebert says it was entirely unnecessary and riddled with swampy deals for Biden’s cronies. Boebert also takes a shot at the White House’s claim that the economy is in a better place than it has been.
“The Biden White House claims ‘the economy is in a better place than it has been historically.’ Well, I’m curious: is it the highest inflation of my lifetime; the highest gas prices in American history; or our shrinking GDP which caused Jen Psaki’s replacement to make such an outrageous claim?” Boebert says.
“Not only was the so-called American Rescue Plan entirely unnecessary, but it was riddled with swampy deals for Biden’s political allies in blue states and did not include common-sense protection to mitigate fraud. Less than 9% of this two trillion dollar sham went to anything COVID related.”
