According to a report from the Daily Wire, one Texas landowner has offered Elon Musk 100 free acres of land to build a new Twitter headquarters in just north of Austin, TX; Jim Schwertner, CEO of Schwertner Farms, extended the offer.

“Elon Musk, Move Twitter to Schwertner, TX. 38 Miles North of Austin in Williamson County, and we will give you 100 Acres for FREE,” Schwertner tweeted.

From the Daily Wire…

Schwertner Farms, with more than 20,000 acres in Williamson and Bell Counties, also shared details regarding his new offer with the Austonian.

“We think it’s a good idea, especially when you’ve got Samsung coming to Taylor,” Schwertner told the outlet. “I mean, this area is exploding and we want to be part of this explosive growth.”

Three of Musk’s other companies — Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company — are all operating in Texas.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott weighed in, promising a “free speech zone” and the possibility to establish “Twitter, Texas.”

“Texas man offers Elon Musk 100 acres of FREE land to move Twitter’s headquarters. I will declare it a “Free Speech Zone” Maybe we can rename it Twitter, Texas. Think about it .@elonmusk.”

While Elon Musk hasn’t voiced any concrete plans to move Twitter from San Francisco to Texas, his other companies, Tesla, Boring Company and Space X all have Texas HQs. Musk also previously tweeted about turning Twitter HQ in San Francisco in to a shelter for the homeless.
