Former congresswoman and Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has been very vocal lately on the issues of free speech and censorship. Gabbard shared her thoughts recently, seemingly commenting on Elon Musk’s potential Twitter takeover.
“It is not the government’s job to shield us from information—no matter how ‘dangerous’ they claim it to be. The true danger is a nation of citizens who blindly follow and parrot government propaganda instead of looking for and courageously expressing the truth,” Gabbard tweeted with a video.

Gabbard also replied to recent comments made by WaPo columnist Max Boot, in which Boot says more content moderation is needed on social platforms —not less.
