President Trump doubled-down on his signature campaign promise this week; telling Democrats he has “no problem” shutting down the federal government should they fail to fully fund his border wall.
The President was speaking alongside Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte Monday when he confirmed his administration was prepared for an all-out war with Congressional Democrats surrounding immigration along the US-Mexico border.
“If we don’t get border security, after many years of talk within the United States, I would have no problem doing a shutdown,” the president said. “We have a solemn obligation to protect our citizens and their quality of life.”

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: GOP Rep. Proposes 'BORDER WALL' Between California and Arizona
A Republican congresswoman from Arizona proposed the construction of a “border wall” between her state and California; citing the ongoing chaos caused by the Golden State’s ‘sanctuary city’ policies and soaring crime rates.
Rep. Martha McSally made her surprising remarks while speaking at a round-table discussion at the White House Tuesday, saying Arizona residents need to protect themselves from California’s “dangerous policies.”
“As we look in Arizona, we often look into the dangers of the southern border,” said the congresswoman. “But if these dangerous policies continue out of California, we might need to build a wall between California and Arizona as well to keep these dangerous criminals out of our state.”
“[They can’t] provide sanctuary for these criminals and think that it’s only impacting California dangerously,” she added.
The state’s outrageous ‘sanctuary city’ policies were thrust into the national headlines again this week, when a small southern California town voted to officially reject the “unconstitutional” guidelines that prohibit law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration agents.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Trump Tours BORDER WALL, Unloads on 'Sanctuary State' Officials
President Donald Trump touched-down in the ‘Sanctuary State’ of California Tuesday; touring his border wall and meeting with members of law enforcement as the region continues to spiral out of control after months of unprecedented homelessness and a spike in crime.
The President spoke with reporters while inspecting the varying prototypes of his proposed border wall with Mexico; saying California officials were secretly “begging” him to build the barrier.

“The state of California is begging us to build walls in certain areas, they don’t tell you that. We said, ‘No, we won’t do it until we build the whole wall.’ There are certain areas where they’re really wanting us to build a wall,” Trump told the crowd. “People are complaining, because people are pouring in. They don’t talk about that.”
“You have to have see-through, you have to know what’s on the other side of the wall,” he said when asked if he preferred one specific prototype. “If you don’t know what’s on the other side of the wall, you could be two-feet away from a criminal cartel and you won’t even know they’re there.”
