Democrats won’t be happy about this indictment when the smoke clears —it seems to be teeing up Trump to be incredibly competitive in 2024.
According to the latest polling data from Rasmussen Reports, former President and 2024 candidate Donald Trump just took his biggest lead over President Biden yet; Trump moved ahead with 47%-40% with support from women and independents.
From The Washington Examiner:
Trump was trailing Biden 42%-45% in February, the last time the national polling firm conducted a 2024 head-to-head survey. Trump announced his candidacy in November.
Wednesday’s survey is the first 2024 general election testing since the Manhattan hush money indictment against the 45th president was released last week. It was conducted before Tuesday’s hearing, during which Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 counts.
