Donald Trump spoke briefly with the press outside his New York City trial on Wednesday. With the jury beginning deliberations, Trump says “Mother Theresa could not beat these charges.”
“I would say, listening to the charges from the Judge … Mother Theresa could not beat these charges. These charges are rigged. The whole thing is rigged,” Trump said.
“The whole country is a mess between the borders and fake elections and we have a trial like this where the judge is so conflicted he can’t breathe … it’s a disgrace!”
“We’ll see how we do.”
Trump also hit Robert De Niro again, calling him a “broken-down fool.”
The jury may take several days to return a verdict.
