According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, former President Trump is the preferred 2024 GOP candidate among Republican voters.
Forty-seven percent (47%) of likely Republican voters chose Trump as the candidate they would most likely support as the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ranked second with 20%, followed by Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney (7%), Texas Senator Ted Cruz (6%) and former Vice President Mike Pence (5%).
One tier below those candidates, you’ll find former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo each at three percent (3%).
