Former President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump was in Texas over the weekend serving Thanksgiving meals to the Texas National Guard and locking down Governor Greg Abbott’s 2024 endorsement.
Footage of Trump’s time in Texas was shared widely on social media.

While in Edinburg, Trump locked down the endorsement of Gov. Abbott, who shared the following message on hi X account.
“Today, I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President,” Abbott wrote on X. “Now more than ever, America needs a President who will secure the border and prioritize national security. President Trump is the clear choice to get the job done.”

Trump said it was a “Great Honor” to serve the meals to troops and law enforcement members.
“It was my Great Honor to serve Thanksgiving meals to law enforcement and troops who will be stationed at the Southern Border during the Thanksgiving holiday this week. On behalf of all Americans, THANK YOU for your service and dedication.”
