TRUMP: GOP Congress Will Finish Wall in 3 Weeks, ‘We Will Shut Down Joe’s Border Disaster’

More than 2 million migrant encounters were logged at the southern border in 2021 —and President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have no idea what to do about it. Biden spoke to the National Governors Association (NGA) on Monday about the border crisis.

“We’re working a lot with neighboring countries. A lot to do,” Biden said during the meeting.

“I think one of the fundamental things we’ve got to do in addition to some of the changes we’ll make, which we won’t get into it today, is that if we figure out why they’re leaving in the first place,” the president continued. “It’s not like people sit around and say, in Guadalajara, ‘I got a great idea, let’s sell everything we have, give it to a coyote, take us across the border, leave us in the desert in a country doesn’t want us. We don’t speak the language. Won’t that be fun?’

“You know, there are gangs we’re working on, there’s a whole lot of illegal movement, but there’s also a way to begin to deal with the reason they’re leaving in the first place,” he added.

Meanwhile, former President Trump held an event in Texas over the weekend, reassuring the border state that electing a GOP congress is a sure-fire way to solve the crisis.

“With a Republican Congress…we will shut down Joe Biden’s border disaster…we will quickly complete the border wall – it will be done in three weeks, we will end chain migration and we will make sure those admitted to our country share our values,” said Trump.
