President Trump ripped the Democrats’ latest impeachment fantasy on social media Tuesday; saying “Crazy Nancy Pelosi” is determined to remove him from office before the 2020 election because “she think’s he’ll win.”
“Nancy Pelosi just stated that ‘it is dangerous to let the voters decide Trump’s fate.’ @FoxNews In other words, she thinks I’m going to win and doesn’t want to take a chance on letting the voters decide. Like Al Green, she wants to change our voting system. Wow, she’s CRAZY!” posted the President.

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made similar comments last week; asserting the Democrats’ efforts are about averting a “potentially disastrous outcome” in the General Election.
“We have to move quite quickly because we’re talking about the potential compromise of the 2020 elections. This is not just about something that has occurred, this is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

The Representative’s comments come hours after GOP leadership released a key memo debunking the Democrats’ motives for impeachment.
These facts are:
- The July 25 call summary — the best evidence of the conversation — shows no conditionality or evidence of pressure;
- President Zelensky and President Trump have both said there was no pressure on the call;
- The Ukrainian government was not aware of a hold on U.S. security assistance at the time of the July 25 call; and
- President Trump met with President Zelensky and U.S. security assistance flowed to Ukraine in September 2019 — both of which occurred without Ukraine investigating President Trump’s political rivals,” states the letter.
