In a scorched-earth showdown on CNN this week, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin unloaded on the network for burying stories about ICE’s massive crackdown on criminal migrants — while hyping up bogus polls claiming the raids make America “less safe.”

“We arrested 2,500 criminal illegals in 5 weeks in Minnesota…I have not seen CNN cover who some of those individuals are,” McLaughlin said. “An individual from Ecuador who murdered his 3-year-old son. An individual who was perpetuating human slavery and human trafficking. Scores and scores of murderers — child pedophiles!”

“Why does the media not talk about that?! We continue to see that people love to demonize law enforcement, and they are facing a 100% increase in assaults against them. And yet, we’re not talking about the great work they’re doing on the ground. The fact that they are risking their lives day in and day out.”
