Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on her party’s flat-out refusal to accept Robert Mueller’s “no collusion” report Wednesday; saying Democrats simply refute the Attorney General’s “interpretation” of the findings.
Pelosi was speaking with reporters at the US Capitol when she was asked to comment on the special counsel’s two-year investigation that ultimately concluded there was no cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.
“We haven’t even seen the Mueller report. We don’t expect to accept just the Attorney General’s interpretation of it. A little bit arrogant of him to think that would be the case,” said Pelosi.
HANNITY WATCH: Liberal Media ‘Can’t Recover’ from Mueller’s ‘No Collusion’ Report
Journalists Lara Logan and The Hill’s Joe Concha stopped by ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night to weigh-in on the mainstream media’s reaction to Robert Mueller’s final report; saying the liberal press can never “recover” from the two-year witch hunt.
“I think people get it. I think Democrats don’t get it. We’ll see more overreach, more investigations, and more socialism that will destroy this country,” said Hannity.
“Do they ever recover? This has been two-years of never-ending, non-stop lies and conspiracy theories. Frankly, they ought to be apologizing and embarrassed, but that will never happen… They’ve been promising this to their audience. They can’t recover, from my perspective,” he added.
JARRETT: Trump-Russia 'Collusion' was Always a HOAX – and Dirtiest Political Trick in Modern US History
Fox News’ Gregg Jarrett weighed-in Monday on Robert Mueller’s final report that showed there was “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 election; calling the “hoax” the “dirtiest political trick” in modern American history.
“There was never any evidence that Donald Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election from Hillary Clinton. It was all a hoax. It constituted what is surely the dirtiest political trick in modern American history,” writes Jarrett.
“The hoax was based largely on an anti-Trump ‘dossier’ conjured from the fertile imaginations of two nefarious characters: ex-British spy Christopher Steele; and Fusion GPS Founder, Glenn Simpson,” he adds.
“It was commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democrats, then peddled all over Washington to journalists, the FBI, the State Department and the Department of Justice. It spread like an airborne contagion in a 50 mile per hour wind. The premise of the ruse was as outlandish as the actions of those who advanced it,” concludes Jarrett.
