Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer rebuked the Biden administration’s border policy this week, saying the White House “must stop these expulsions” and the “horrible treatment of innocent Haitians.”
“The horrible treatment of these innocent Haitian people—who have come to the border fleeing violence and natural disaster—must stop immediately. The Admin must stop these expulsions and end this Title 42 policy at our southern border,” posted Schumer on Twitter.

Vice President Kamala Harris made similar comments Tuesday.
“What I saw depicted, those individuals on horseback treating human beings the way they were was horrible,” Harris told reporters
“I fully support what is happening right now, which is a thorough investigation into what is going on there. But human beings should never be treated that way, and I’m deeply troubled about it,” she said.

“I mean, talk about a country that has just experienced so much tragedy,” Harris said. “And we really have to do a lot more to recognize that, as a member of the western hemisphere, we’ve got to support some very basic needs that the people of Haiti have to get back up and to do what folks naturally want to do, be them from Haiti or in the countries in Central America. People want to stay home. They don’t want to leave home. But they leave when they can not satisfy their basic needs.”
“DHS does not tolerate the abuse of migrants in our custody and we take these allegations very seriously,” the department said in a statement on Twitter. “We are committed to processing migrants in a safe, orderly, and humane way. We can and must do this in a way that ensures the safety and dignity of migrants.”

DONALD TRUMP: Joe Biden's Border Disaster the ‘Greatest Crisis in the History of Our Country’
Former President Donald Trump released a scathing statement on the escalating border crisis over the weekend, saying the current problem is rapidly turning the United States into a “cesspool of humanity.”
— New York Post (@nypost) September 19, 2021
“The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want. Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration. Tens of thousands of people are coming from Haiti, and many now from countries in Africa, even more so now than South America. Nothing is done and the corrupt Mainstream Media is giving almost no attention to what will be perhaps the greatest Crisis in the history of our Country. This is not just a Border Crisis, this is a Crisis Crisis. God Bless America!” posted Trump on his webpage.
At least 14,000 migrants -most from Haiti- are currently gathered under an international bridge near Del Rio, Texas.
More than 200,000 migrants illegally entered the United States in August, a 317% increase from the same time last year under President Trump.
HE’S BACK: Biden Returns to DC After Weekend in Delaware, Avoids Press at the White House
President Biden returned to Washington, DC Monday after spending the weekend in Delaware; avoiding members of the media as the humanitarian crisis along the US-Mexico border spirals out of control.
“Biden didn’t pause to take our questions as he returned to White House from Rehoboth,” posted a reporter from Bloomberg.

At least 14,000 immigrants from the Caribbean nation are currently huddled under an international bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
Senator Ted Cruz toured the US-Mexico border this week as a humanitarian disaster unfolded in Texas, confirming upwards of 85% of the people under the international bridge are from Haiti.
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are absolute hypocrites… This is a man-made crisis. Eight days ago, under that same bridge, there were between 700 and a thousand people. Then, the administration made a political decision. They announced they were no longer flying deportation flights back to Haiti,” said Cruz. “85% of the people under there are from Haiti.”
“Today, 700 people has grown to 10,500. If you’re from Haiti, Joe Biden has said we have open borders!”
The White House temporarily blocked the use of drones from documenting the “out of control” crisis taking place along the US-Mexico border Friday, implementing a two-week black-out against media outlets and private citizens.
“We’ve learned that the FAA just implemented a two week TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX, meaning we can no longer fly our FOX drone over it to show images of the thousands of migrants. FAA says ‘special security reason,’” posted Fox News’ Bill Melugin.
