TOO FAR: AOC Says Trump Operating ‘Concentration Camps’ along US Border, Compares to Holocaust

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.18.19

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reached a stunning new low Monday night; accusing the Trump administration of operating a series of “concentration camps” along the US-Mexico border.

“The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border. That’s exactly what they are. They are concentration camps. If that doesn’t bother you… I like, whatever, I want to talk to the people that are concerned with humanity that ‘Never Again’ means something,” said the left-wing lawmaker.

“The fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the home of the free is extraordinarily disturbing,” she added.

The self-described Democratic Socialist made national headlines last week when she called for a $4,500 raise for Members of Congress and a “cost-of-living adjustment” for all Americans.

“It may be politically convenient and make you look good in the short term… but we should be fighting for pay increases for every American worker. We should be fighting for $15 an hour minimum wage pegged to inflation,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

“Everybody in the United States, with a salary, with a wage gets a cost of living increase. Members of Congress, retail workers, everybody should get a cost of living increase,” she added.

“Yep. Voting against cost of living increases for members of Congress may sound nice, but doing so only increases pressure on them to keep dark money loopholes open. This makes campaign finance reform *harder.* ALL workers deserve cost of living increases, incl min wage workers,” she posted on social media.

“In democratically socialist businesses (like worker co-ops) or methods (like collective bargaining) you actually CAN vote for a worker pay increase. Many do! We can’t pass these laws bc of big money. This is how you chip at it. Like I said, it’s not popular but I’m bein 100%,” she added.

AOC DIGS IN: Ocasio-Cortez Says It’s ‘A Myth’ that Veterans’ Healthcare System is ‘Broken’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.29.19

Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her recent claims that the Veterans’ Affairs healthcare system “ain’t broke” Monday; saying it’s “a myth” that the VA hospitals “are broken.”

“You might have heard Fox News talking about it,” Ocasio-Cortez said, “because there is a myth that all VAs everywhere are broken.”

“If we can starve them of budgets and make sure they can’t do their job, then we can say the whole system should be thrown away,” she said while speaking with supporters in New York City. “I’m not going to back down from protecting the VA.”

AOC ERUPTS: Ocasio-Cortez Backs Boycott of NY POST Over 9/11 Front Page

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.17.19

Embattled Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez escalated her war-of-words with the NY Post this week; supporting a national boycott against her hometown paper after they posted a fierce response to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s 9/11 remarks.

“While President Trump repeatedly attacks the New York Times and other purveyors of ‘fake news,’ New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is targeting her own media foe: the New York Post,” reports Yahoo News.

“In a Sunday interview with the Yahoo News podcast ‘Skullduggery,’ the freshman New York congresswoman explained why she is endorsing a boycott of the paper organized by local Yemeni-American bodega owners, calling the Post’s attack on her friend Rep. Ilhan Omar ‘beyond the pale,’” adds the author.
