'THIS WILL SAVE LIVES': Kash Patel Provides Update on Fentanyl Fight, New Agreement With China [WATCH]

Progress in the fight against fentanyl.

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing, FBI Director Kash Patel provided an update on a new agreement with China that will crack down on drug cartels and the deadly drug fentanyl.

Patel called the agreement “historic” and said it will save American lives by increasing oversight on deadly precursor chemicals used to manufacture the drug.

“The People’s Republic of China has fully designated and listed all 13 precursors used to make fentanyl… Effective immediately, essentially, President Trump has shut off the pipeline that creates fentanyl… These substances are now BANNED.”

“That was the sole purpose of my trip to China to eliminate these precursors. And if successful, we would suffocate the drug trafficking organizations’ ability to manufacture fentanyl in places like Mexico,” Patel told reporters during the briefing.
