Oregon Governor Kate Brown urged all residents to “keep it small” this Thanksgiving; telling citizens in her state to “disinvite your boyfriends, uncles, aunts, best friends, and nieces” from the annual meal.
“This is hard, but making difficult sacrifices now will save lives. This Thanksgiving, keep it small. Uninvite them,” posted Brown on social media.

“We again request Kate Brown (@OregonGovBrown), the Governor of Oregon, and Mayor @TedWheeler of Portland, to call up the National Guard like should have been done 3 months ago,” posted the President on social media.
