‘THIS IS NUTS’: Ted Cruz Rips Texas City Council for Labeling Term ‘Chinese Virus’ a ‘Hate Crime’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.08.20

Senator Ted Cruz ripped the San Antonio City Council this week after the local officials officially labeled the term “Chinese Virus” a “hate crime” during the Coronavirus pandemic.

“This is NUTS. SA City Council behaving like a lefty college faculty lounge, triggered by Chick-fil-A & the words ‘Wuhan virus.’ If they want to investigate someone, start with NYT & CNN who both repeatedly (and rightly) referred to it as ‘the Chinese coronavirus,’” posted Cruz on social media.

“Unfortunately, during times of crisis we do see the best of humanity and sometimes we also see the worst,” said Mayor Ron Nirenberg, who initiated the resolution, according to San Antonio’s WOAI-TV. “There has been a rise of hate speech throughout the course of this pandemic.”

CRUZ MISSILE: Sotomayor’s Attacks on Trump ‘Like an Arsonist Complaining About the Fire Trucks’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.20

Senator Ted Cruz weighed-in this week on Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s attacks against the Trump administration; saying it sounds like “an arsonist complaining about the noise from the fire trucks.”

“I read it a little bit like an arsonist complaining about the noise from the fire trucks. The reason there are so many emergency appeals is you have 55 nationwide injunctions from far too many judges who are not honoring their oath. Instead their operating as partisan political activists,” said Cruz.

CRUZ MISSILE: Ted Cruz Nukes FBI Russia Probe, Says Entire Case Based on ‘Fraudulent Evidence’

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.19

Senator Ted Cruz torched the FBI’s handling of its investigation into Russia Collusion Wednesday; saying the entire case was based on “fraudulent evidence” provided by a lawyer at the Department of Justice.

“A lawyer at the FBI creates fraudulent evidence, alters an email, that is in turn used as the basis for a sworn statement to the court that the court relies on. Am I stating that accurately?” asked Cruz.

“That is correct, that is what occurred,” replied Horowitz.

“If a private citizen did this, fabricated evidence, would that private citizen be prosecuted?” pressed Cruz.

“They’d certainly be considered for that,” stated Horowitz.
