'THEY ABSOLUTELY BLEW IT': Watters Rips Buttigieg, 'Can't Get Baby Formula in Joe Biden's America'

Fox News host Jesse Watters went off on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg during Monday’s episode of The Five; Watters was reacting to Buttigieg’s recent comments on the nationwide baby formula shortage in which he said the administration has acted “since day one” and the government “doesn’t make baby formula.”

“Mayor Pete can’t get baby formula in Joe Biden’s America. Yes. And Pete is not even blaming Joe Biden,” Watters said. “Pete says ‘the government doesn’t make baby formula.’ The government doesn’t make anything! When does that ever stop the government from getting involved in everything?” he asked.

“The FDA has to do regulation and oversight. What do the Democrats constantly whine about? More regulation, more government oversight. The one opportunity they had to go in there and do more regulation and oversight, they absolutely blew it.”

“Watters noted Buttigieg and other Democrats regularly beat the drum about the importance of regulation and oversight, pointing out the Food & Drug Administration has not appeared to at least pause the red tape involved in getting formula to market – including importing from overseas,” Fox News reports.
