“This is not a threat you can have.”
President Trump spoke to reporters about the latest developments in the Middle East on the White House lawn on Wednesday.
“Have you given Iran an ultimatum?” a reporter asked.
“You could say so, the ultimate ultimatum,” Trump responded.
Trump also says Iran is “defenseless.”
“I don’t know how much longer it’s going to go on — they’re totally defenseless — no air defense, whatsoever. We’ve totally captured the air,” Trump said.
Trump praised the Iranian citizens as “smart people.”
“And those people are getting the hell beat out of them now.”
Trump also discussed a recent call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
