posted by Hannity Staff - 10.01.19

A mouse abruptly fell from the ceiling of the White House Press Booth Tuesday; sending reporters scrambling as journalists and staff chased the rodent around the room.

“In other news: A mouse literally fell out of the ceiling in our White House booth and landed on my lap,” posted NBC News’ Peter Alexander.

“Mouse hunt in the White House press room,” added a reporter from Reuters.

'BREAKDOWN OF CIVILIZATION': LA Times SLAMS City Officials over Homeless Crisis, Rat Invasion, Garbage Piles

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.10.19

A columnist with the Los Angeles Times unloaded on city officials this week over the region’s escalating homeless crisis, ongoing invasion of rodents, and “sky-high” garbage piles taking over the streets.

“Los Angeles looks as if it’s digging out from a hurricane, with hordes on the streets, tents everywhere and armies of rodents on the march, inciting fears of disease.,” Steve Lopez wrote  in his column, which appeared online Saturday night.

“I could give you a hundred breakdowns of what happened and what it all means, but it comes down to this: We’re in troubled waters on a ship without a captain, and though there might be a few pretenders on the bridge, nobody trusts them,” adds Lopez.

“We found out on Tuesday that although the city and county spent $600 million last year to chip away at the number of homeless people, the total increased by 16% to nearly 60,000,” adds the author.

“I naively invited readers last week to email me photos of trash heaps and encampments in their neighborhoods, and my inbox is about to explode,” he wrote. “I’ve got photos of half-clothed people passed out on pavement, sidewalks blocked by tents, bulky items, piles of poop and enough trash to fill the Grand Canyon.”

The current rat invasion sweeping across Los Angeles extended into an unlikely place last week: City Hall. Experts are now blaming the infestation on “homeless camps” circling the public property.

“When faced with complaints earlier this year from city workers about rats infesting L.A. City Hall, most city officials said little about whether the problem was connected to several homeless camps right outside,” reports the Los Angeles Times.

“But a newly uncovered report from a pest control company hired by the city has raised fresh questions about whether officials wrongly downplayed that possibility during discussions at City Council meetings,” adds the newspaper.

According to the pest control company hired to clear city hall, workers found “poor sanitary conditions” including human waste, food, and needles throughout the property.

“The homeless are using the grated areas above the pits as their bathroom and relieving themselves,” wrote David Costa, building construction and maintenance superintendent. “This is also attracting the rats. Custodial will need to do some hazmat cleaning of the grates and the pits. There are even hypodermic needles being tossed in the pits along with human waste and other garbage.”

The invasion comes after two LAPD officers were diagnosed with Typhus and other serious diseases related to the city’s rat population.

'FULL BLOWN EMERGENCY': 500+ ‘African Migrants’ Crossed US-Mexico Border Since MAY 30

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.07.19

Hundreds of migrants from Central African nations -including the Congo and Angola- have crossed the US-Mexico border in previous days; with experts saying the immigrants are entering Brazil before making their way towards the United States.

“More than 500 migrants from African nations — including Angola, Cameroon and the Republic of Congo — have been apprehended in Texas, at the Del Rio Border Patrol sector of the U.S.-Mexico border, since May 30, according to US Customs and Border Protection,” reports Fox News.

A single group of 116 migrants were apprehended at one time after crossing the Rio Grande into the United States.

According to federal agents, the immigrants’ inability to speak English or Spanish is creating “additional burdens on processing stations.”

“It remained unclear what route the African migrants had taken to arrive to the U.S.-Mexico border. Some Africans recently told NPR they traveled from Africa to Brazil and then north though Colombia and Central America,” adds Fox.

“BREAKING: City confirms hundreds of migrants from the Congo have arrived in SA. The city is in desperate need for French speaking volunteers,” posted a local news reporter from San Antonio.

“U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Station apprehended a large group of 116 individuals Thursday,” stated a press release from the Border and Customs Protection Agency.

“Large groups present a unique challenge for the men and women of the Del Rio Sector,” said Chief Raul Ortiz. “This large group from Africa further demonstrates the complexity and severity of the border security and humanitarian crisis at our Southwest border.”

“This is the first large group apprehended in the Del Rio Sector and the first large group of people from Africa – including nationals from Angola, Cameroon and Congo – apprehended on the Southwest border this year,” adds the statement.

The arrests come as more and more top-tier Democrats admit a public “crisis at the border” after months of denying the President’s national emergency declaration.

“We’ve never not said that there was a crisis. There is a humanitarian crisis at the border. And some of it provoked by the actions taken by the administration and… I’ll just quote our friends from the Evangelical community when they came in and testified in the last Congress in one of our rump hearings because the Republicans wouldn’t have the hearing,” said Pelosi during an interview on Satellite Radio.

“We will hopefully work together in a bipartisan way to address this. But, yes, it is a crisis…” she added.
