THE DON OF NYC: Trump Reiterates Plans for MSG Rally, South Bronx Event [WATCH]

During a special town hall event with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night, former President and 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump was once again asked about his plans to make New York a battleground state. Is he still planning on holding an event at Madison Square Garden and a rally in the South Bronx?

“I’ve long said that Republicans should have a ‘no state or city left behind’ strategy. Ronald Reagan had that strategy in 1980 and 1984. You told Maria Bartiromo that you may campaign in the Bronx or at Madison Square Garden. When might that be happening?” Ingraham asked Trump.

“Very soon,” Trump answered. “Look, we have nine months yet. But I’m going to see about Madison Square Garen and we’re going to go to the Bronx and we’re going to go to Queens and other areas.”

The last time a Republican presidential candidate won New York was Ronald Reagan in 1984.
