ART OF THE PEACE DEAL: Hamas Agrees to Release All Israeli Hostages, Begin Negotiations for Peace: Report

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.03.25

According to a New York Post report, Hamas said Friday it has agreed to release all Israeli hostages — both living and dead — and is ready to begin peace negotiations.

The militant group said it held “extensive consultations … to reach a responsible position in dealing with” President Trump’s ceasefire proposal, as the Gaza war nears its third year.

Hamas said it would free the remaining 48 hostages — 20 of whom are believed alive, including two Americans killed in captivity, Itay Chen, 19, and Omer Neutra, 21 — “provided the field conditions for the exchange are met.”

The announcement comes as Trump issued a Sunday 6 p.m. deadline for Hamas to accept his 20-point plan, warning “all hell” would break loose if they refused.

Trump unveiled the proposal Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It calls for hostages to be released, a temporary “Board of Peace” to oversee Gaza, and amnesty for Hamas fighters.

Hamas also signaled it was willing to hand administrative control of Gaza to an independent Palestinian body formed by national consensus and backed by Arab and Islamic states.
