THANKS DE BLASIO! City Slashes Sanitation Pick-Ups 60%, Rotting Garbage Overflows on to Streets

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.02.20

Furious New Yorkers are complaining to Mayor Bill de Blasio not just about crime, but now garbageā€¦ The Big Apple recently slashed the Sanitation Departmentā€™s budget by millions; causing rotting garbage to overflow onto streets and corners across the five boroughs.

ā€œItā€™s outrageous. A lot of rats come in, a lot of mice, roaches. They gotta do something about this,ā€ Hector Vasquez, of Harlem, said.

ā€œThe city right now, and especially in New York, weā€™re being hailed for doing so great with public health and all these things, but I donā€™t think you can say weā€™re doing that well with public health ā€™cause when you have garbage everywhere, itā€™s also a public health issue,ā€ said Adam Goldenberg, of Harlem.

ā€œIn June, the city cut $106 million from the sanitation departmentā€˜s budget, reducing pickup for public litter baskets by 60%,ā€ reports CBS New York.

'WORST MAYOR EVER': De Blasio -Polling at 0.00%- Says He Has ā€˜Nowhere to Go but UP!ā€™

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.17.19

Failing Democratic presidential candidate Bill de Blasio struck an optimistic tone over the weekend; saying he simply has ā€œnowhere to go but upā€ after recent polls showed the New York City Mayor at 0.00% in Iowa.

“I learned a long time ago about polling, it’s not where you start, it’s where you finish. Right now, I’ve got nowhere to go but up,ā€ said De Blasio on CNN.

A new poll released last week shows President Trump is more popular in ultra-liberal New York than Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio; topping the far-left leader by more than 5% throughout the state.

ā€œThis is an astounding stat. Bill de Blasio’s approval rating in New York is worse than Donald Trump’s approval rating in New York. de Blasio: 29% Trump: 34%,ā€ posted a reporter from the New York Times.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio continues to poll at 0.00% in Iowa, with a new survey showing the far-left leader gaining zero votes out of 600 local Democrats.

ā€œHow do you process this information that not one single Iowa voter named you as a first or second choice in this new polling?ā€ asked CNNā€™s Ana Cabrera.

ā€œItā€™s a poll of 600 Iowans eight months before the caucuses. This is just the beginning of a very long process,ā€ said de Blasio.

The horrible polling numbers come as ā€œwealthyā€ millennials flee NYC due to housing costs, massive taxes, and burdensome business regulations.

ā€œWealthy millennials are not interested in trying to make it in the city that never sleeps. In fact, according to a new study, they are actuallyĀ leaving New York state altogether,ā€ reports Fox Business. ā€œBased on data provided by the IRS from the 2015 to 2016 tax year, a June 2019Ā SmartAssetĀ study listed New York as the top state rich millennials are fleeing.ā€

According to the survey, ā€œrichā€ millennials include those younger than 35 with an income of $100,000 or higher. Wealthy young Americans are also fleeing Illinois, Virginia, and Massachusetts.

'WORST MAYOR EVER': New Poll Shows President Trump MORE POPULAR than Bill De Blasio in NY

ā€œThe Northeast isnā€™t popular with wealthy millennials,ā€ noted the report. ā€œSave for New Jersey, which made the top 10, the Northeast isnā€™t a popular destination for the wealthy under 35. Five of the bottom 10 states (Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New York), plus the District of Columbia, are located in the Northeastern region of the U.S.ā€

The populations of Americaā€™s three largest cities are ā€œshrinkingā€ for the first time in years as residents flee rising crime, congestion, massive taxes, and a lack of affordable housing.

ā€œAmericaā€™s largest cities are shrinking but a few in the Southwest are continuing to boom. Fort Worth, Texas, is now the 13th most populous U.S. city, surpassing both San Francisco and Columbus, Ohio, according to newly released population estimates from the Census Bureau,ā€ reports Bloomberg.

ā€œBesides Fort Worth, the fifteen most populous cities were largely unchanged from the prior year. However, the three largest U.S. cities, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, shrank last year,ā€ adds the article.
