The Iranian government issued a stark warning to Israel Tuesday; saying the Jewish State will face a “firm response” should they continue to attack targets inside Syria.
The Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council threatened Jerusalem during a high-level meeting regarding the Islamic Republic’s role in the ongoing Syrian civil-war.
“If these actions continue, we will activate some calculated measures as a deterrent and as a firm and appropriate response to teach a lesson to the criminal and lying rulers of Israel,” said the official.
The comments come weeks after a suicide-bomber killed multiple Americans on “routine patrol” in the region; detonating an explosive vest near a restaurant in northern Syria.

TENSE IN TEHRAN: Iran Accuses US of Trying to ‘TOPPLE’ Regime During UN Meetings
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani slammed the Trump administration during high-level meetings at the United Nations Wednesday; directly accusing the White House of attempting to “topple” his regime using strict new sanctions.
Rouhani addressed the UN General Assembly this week; saying “It is ironic that the US government does not even conceal its plan for overthrowing the same government it invites to talks.”
“For dialogue to take place, there is no need for a photo opportunity. The two sides can listen to each other right here in this assembly,” he added.
The Trump administration slammed the Islamic Republic’s refusal to cooperate with new demands surrounding its nuclear weapons program this week, accusing Tehran of “supporting terrorism” around the globe.
“We cannot allow the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism to possess the planet’s most dangerous weapons,” said the President during his Tuesday address.

TENSE IN TEHRAN: Iran Calls on Middle East to ‘UNITE’ Against America
The Supreme Leader of Iran urged all Muslim-majority countries to forge a lasting alliance against the United States Thursday; adding the Islamic Republic will resist all “arrogant powers” as the US prepares to withdraw from its “disastrous” nuclear agreement.
According to Yahoo News, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was speaking with Iranian state-run news when he slammed the US and its allies for “bullying” Muslim countries around the world; adding Iran had successfully “resisted” American aggression for years.
“The Iranian nation has successfully resisted bullying attempts by America and other arrogant powers and we will continue to resist… All Muslim nations should stand united against America and other enemies,” said the Supreme Leader.
“Such remarks are humiliation for Muslims … Unfortunately there is war in our region between Muslim countries. The backward governments of some Muslim countries are fighting with other countries,” he added.
Khamenei’s comments come just a day after French President Emmanuel Macron and President Trump announced they would pursue a “new deal” with Iran on their nuclear program.
