TED TALKS RED TSUNAMI: Flores Win 'Political Earthquake,' 'Democrats Panicking About Losses With Hispanics'

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.21.22

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) says the election of Mayra Flores to Texas’ 34th Congressional District is a huge “political earthquake”; he says “[t]here is just no other way to describe it.”

In a statement provided exclusively to the The Daily Wire, the Lone Star Senator emphasized that the Democratic Party is losing Hispanic voters at an alarming rate —and many Dems are panicking.

“I’ve spoken to many of my colleagues and the Democrats are privately panicking about their losses with Hispanics,” Cruz told DW.

“From Mexican-Americans in Texas to Colombian Americans in Florida and Puerto Ricans in New York, Hispanics of all backgrounds are abandoning the Democrat Party in droves,” Cruz added in his statement to DW. “Not only is there nothing the Democrats can do about it, it’s going to get a lot worse for them.

Cruz predicts the red wave would crash across two more Texas districts: the 28th and the 15th.

“The historically blue Rio Grande Valley is turning red this November,” Cruz added. “Mayra will soon be joined in Congress by rockstars like my friends Cassy Garcia and Monica De La Cruz.”

“We have a message of hope, opportunity, and American revival — and I can’t wait to share it with conservatives and other like-minded patriots in America’s Heartland,” Cruz said of the GOP message. “If we come together, I have no doubt that we will see a red tsunami sweep across the nation this November.”
