Cruz says Mamdani is a “Commie Jihadist.”
During Monday night’s Hannity, Texas Senator Ted Cruz warned New Yorkers and Americans that a Zohran Mamdani victory in the Big Apple spells trouble for the entire country.
“It is amazing to see New Yorkers vote for someone who is an open Communist — he’s a Communist, not a Socialist,” Cruz said. “He’s talking about government seizing the means of production. He’s talking about massive tax increases and putting the government in charge of the economy.”
Cruz continued: “And he is a jihadist! This is someone who went and did a photo op with an unindicted co-conspirator of the World Trade Center bombing.”
“This is dangerous!” Cruz added, stressing that he doesn’t agree with some who think electing Mamdani will ultimately be good for the GOP once the country sees Mamdani fail.
“I’m hoping there is some common sense in New York City.”
Cruz also discusses gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia.
