Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg publicly blamed Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s brutal confirmation battle on Congressional leaders Wednesday; saying they totally failed to “reach across the aisle” during the contentious hearings.
Ginsburg was speaking in Washington, DC when she commented on the all-out war waged by Congressional Democrats to block Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
“What a difference in time that was from what we are witnessing today,” said Ginsburg, referring to the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s unanimous confirmation.
Ginsburg was confirmed by a 96-3 Senate vote.
“To me, the obvious culprit is Congress,” she added, noting they failed to “reach across the aisle.”

BAD EDUCATION: Minnesota Teacher Placed on 'PAID Leave’ After ‘Kill Kavanaugh’ Tweet
A teacher in Minnesota was placed ‘on paid leave’ earlier this week following a vicious tweet that urged liberal activists to “kill” President Trump’s newest appointment to the US Supreme Court.
The unnamed instructor took to Twitter Saturday just hours after the Senate voted to place Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the nation’s highest court, writing “So whose gonna take one for the team and kill Kavanaugh?”
“Over the weekend, the district has received a complaint regarding an employee,” said Mark A. Zuzek, the superintendent of Intermediate School District #917. “The employee has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.”
“Pursuant with the data practices act, we are limited to providing additional information regarding this matter,” he added.
A spokesperson for the FBI in Minneapolis confirmed Tuesday that the bureau is aware of the post and is actively investigating.

BOOKER BACKLASH: RNC Chair RIPS ‘Pathetic’ Cory Over Kavanaugh Hearings
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel unloaded on Sen. Cory Booker Tuesday, slamming the New Jersey legislator for using “crocodile tears” to fundraise off President Trump’s pick to join the Supreme Court.
McDaniel blasted Booker hours after Brett Kavanaugh arrived at the US Capitol to kick-start his Senate confirmation process; saying the left-wing lawmaker was using the public hearings to raise funds for his campaign.
“Cory Booker is using his crocodile tears as a ploy to raise money. It’s pathetic,” she tweeted.
