Fox News legal analysts Alan Dershowitz and Gregg Jarrett were guests on Hannity Tuesday. night and offered their reactions to the Stormy Daniels testimony in Donald Trump’s NYC criminal case.
“So much information came out that was utterly irrelevant,” Dershowitz said. “Let’s start with whether or not they had sex at all — utterly irrelevant! The only issue is whether she threatened to expose him and whether she extorted him and whether he then paid money to avoid the embarrassment to his business, his family, and his children.”
“I can’t imagine how the Court of Appeals in New York … wouldn’t overturn this case.”
“This is such a corrupt case from beginning to end,” Dershowitz says.
Next, Gregg Jarrett weighed in, stressing that this whole case is about “sliming Trump.”
“Stormy Daniels was called to the witness stand for only one purpose: to slime Trump. But she’s peddled so many stories, that you get whiplash. On cross-examination, though, she withered. She was presented with hard evidence that her motive was greed and hatred of Donald Trump.”
“As witnesses go, she self-destructed.”
