On Friday night, President Joe Biden held a campaign event at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. It was his fits campaign even of 2024 —and he wasted no time going after former President Donald Trump and his supporters.
Biden says that democracy and fundamental freedoms are under attack by Trump and he wasted no time bringing up Jan 6.
“The violence of January the 6th…since that day, more than 1,200 people have been charged for their assault on the Capitol. Nearly 900 of them have been convicted or pled guilty. Collectively to date, they have spent more than 840 years in prison,” Biden said to applause.
“What has Trump done? Instead of calling them criminals, he’s called them patriots.”
