Legendary ESPN host Stephen A. Smith stopped by Hannity on Wednesday night to engage in a tit for tat with Sean Hannity over the current state of the Democratic Party.

But one thing they agreed on: far-left candidates like socialist NYC mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani will not work.

“On Mamdani, I was very surprised that he won over Andrew Cuomo,” Stephen A., said. “I’m not here to denigrate the man in any way — I don’t know all of his policies — but when you talk about ‘free childcare’ and ‘free buses’ and ‘free, free, free’ — that is not going to work!”

“If you’re the Democrats — hear me and hear me good — if you want a chance at the midterms, if you want a chance at the presidency, DO NOT lean far left. It will not work,” Stephen A. added.
