STATES SAY ‘NO’: Six More States Sue Biden Over Vax Mandate for Private Businesses

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.05.21

A group of six states led by the Attorney General of West Virginia sued the White House for vaccine mandates on private businesses; claiming the regulations are “unlawful” and unfairly target workers under their jurisdiction.

The states include West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Idaho, Kansas, and Tennessee.

“This morning, a group of six states, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Idaho, Kansas, and Tennessee, filed a lawsuit in the Sixth Circuit challenging the Biden Administration/OSHA unlawful vaccine mandate. The West Virginia AG will fight for your liberty and your jobs!” posted the AG of West Virginia on social media Friday morning.

The announcement comes the same 11 other state sued the Biden administration.

“This mandate is unconstitutional, unlawful, and unwise,” the court filing says. The group is led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.

The suit was filed by Missouri and joined by Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

“The requirement on large private businesses is the most far-reaching and politically controversial measure in the government’s efforts to fight the pandemic. Attorneys general in at least 24 states have threatened to sue. Republican governors and some industry trade groups have come out against the requirement, and the 20 percent of U.S. adults who remain unvaccinated may oppose the mandate as well,” reports the New York Times.

The mandate was announced in September but delayed until early January to help ease supply chain concerns during the holiday season.

“Separate from OSHA, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is issuing a rule to require health care workers in facilities participating in Medicare and Medicaid be fully vaccinated. The CMS rule will also go into effect Jan. 4 and will cover more than 17 million workers at approximately 76,000 health care facilities nationwide,” reports Fox News.

“The White House also said Thursday that it would push back its federal contractor vaccine mandate deadline from Dec. 8 to Jan. 4. A coalition of Republican attorneys general have already filed suit against the federal contractor mandate,” adds Fox.

'ROUTINE ERROR': 6,700 North Carolina Residents ‘Incorrectly Told They Have Coronavirus’ via Text

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.16.20

Nearly 7,000 residents in North Carolina were told via text message last week that they tested positive for the Coronavirus despite not actually having contracted the disease.

“More than 6,700 individuals in Mecklenburg County in North Carolina were told in a text message sent from Mecklenburg County Health Department on Friday that they tested positive for COVID-19 and over 500 people were told through a county email that they were also infected with the novel coronavirus. But the results were incorrect due to a technical error by Health Space, the company they use for contact tracing, according to a statement on the county’s website,” reports Fox News.

“An error during routine maintenance last Friday resulted in a county data vendor sending erroneous texts and email messages to people saying they were positive for COVID-19,” the statement on the county website said.

“Very quickly we began to work with the vendor to understand the issue and make sure that it did not continue. Once corrected we were told that 6,727 text messages and 541 emails were sent to individuals who were already in their system. We then worked with the vendor to send a corrected text/email to all that received the erroneous one,” the email stated in part.
