Former Speaker of the House and Fox News contributor Newt Gingrich stopped by Monday night’s Hannity to share his thoughts on the nationwide anti-Israel, anti-American protests.

Newt says it’s time to try them for treason.

“I think we should go back to the lessons of the 1930s. FDR was faced with a Nazi effort inside the United States. They locked people up. I believe we should say ‘If you’re for the victory of Iran, if you want to scream Death to America, we’re deporting you. If you’re an American, we’re going to try you for treason!” Gingrich says, adding “It’s time we defend the survival of the United States.”
