Bad news for donkeys.
According to CBS News’ Battleground Tracker poll, the GOP is looking to take the House after midterms. Additionally, a CBS News/YouGov poll found that nearly 8 in 10 Americans think the country is “out of control.”
It’s looking like a red wave is coming.
From CBS News:
In our baseline model, Republicans lead in 228 seats. It represents a slight shift their way from a few weeks ago, with the party recapturing some of the leads that slipped from them in the summer.
That would constitute a 15-seat gain — lower than average for a party challenging a first-term president in recent history. At that level, the majority line is just on the lower edge of the margin of error for our model.
Pelosi recently told the New York Times she can’t believe anyone would vote for a Republican.
“Part of it is, I cannot believe anybody would vote for these people,” she said, describing Republicans’ midterm campaign strategy as “endless lying and endless money.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) dropped by The Faulkner Focus to offer up a few reasons why Americans might vote Republican, including inflation, gas prices, and skyrocketing crime.

If you’re tired of runaway inflation,
If you’re tired of paying too much for gas,
If you’re tired of an open border and skyrocketing crime,Republicans have made a Commitment to you ⬇️https://t.co/TG3ADrm3V0 pic.twitter.com/paXckjLFFu
