SINKING SHIP: Kamala Harris' Senior Staffer Resigns as Polls Plunge

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.19.21

Kamala Harris’ communications director resigned Thursday night as the Vice President’s poll numbers plunge to 28% and the media spotlights a growing rift between her office and Biden’s inner circle.

The resignation of Ashley Etienne will take effect next month.

“Ashley is a valued member of the Vice President’s team, who has worked tirelessly to advance the goals of this administration,” a White House official told Fox News. “She is leaving the office in December to pursue other opportunities.”

A handful of Democratic insiders are sounding the alarm over widespread infighting between Joe Biden’s inner circle and the Vice President’s office as latest polling shows both leaders underwater with American voters.

“It’s hard to miss the specific energy that the White House brings to defend a white man, knowing that Kamala Harris has spent almost a year taking a lot of the hits that the West Wing didn’t want to take themselves,” a former Harris aide told CNN.

“For their part, Harris’ allies are reportedly frustrated with the president for dumping politically fraught issues in her lap — including, infamously, the ongoing illegal immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border,” reports the New York Post.

“They’re consistently sending her out there on losing issues in the wrong situations for her skill set,” said another insider.

“It is natural that those of us who know her know how much more helpful she can be than she is currently being asked to be,” said Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis. “That’s where the frustration is coming from.”

“It is unfortunate that after a productive trip to France in which we reaffirmed our relationship with America’s oldest ally and demonstrated US leadership on the world stage, and following passage of a historic, bipartisan infrastructure bill that will create jobs and strengthen our communities, some in the media are focused on gossip — not on the results that the president and the vice president have delivered,” said Harris’ spokesperson Symone Sanders.

BIDEN on VP PICK: ‘When I Decided to Decide.. When I Made the Decision.. Jill and I… I Made the Decision’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.01.20

Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-filled campaign this week; speaking inside a church on what “we have to do” as a country; promising the crowd he’s considering “multiple African American candidates” to join his ticket.

“The last couple of weeks, I’ve been making what I hope to be very serious national speeches about what I think we have to do… When I decided to decide, when I made the decision, Jill and I, it was Jill and I made the decision… I made the decision that it was important that there would be a woman Vice President — and by the way I promise you there are multiple African American candidates being considered,” Biden told the audience.
