Fox News’ Chris Wallace abruptly shut-down Senator Kirsten Gillibrand Sunday night after she bizarrely attacked the cable news network when asked to comment on late-term and partial-birth abortions.
“What I’m asking you Senator, is what is your position on late-term or last-term abortions,” asked one audience member.
“What we have created, unfortunately, is a false choice and a false narrative,” she said. “And Chris, I want to talk about the role that Fox News plays in this because it’s a problem. I can tell you before President Trump gave his State of the Union, Fox News talked about infanticide,” said Gillibrand.

“Senator, I just want to say, we’ve brought you here for an hour,” he said. “We’ve treated you very fairly. I understand that maybe to make your credentials with the Democrats who are not appearing on Fox News you want to attack us. I’m not sure it’s frankly very polite when we’ve invited you to be here.”
“Instead of talking about Fox News why don’t you answer Susan’s question,” Wallace fired-back.
Late-term abortions have taken center stage on the campaign trail in recent weeks, with conservative states passing so-called ‘Heartbeat’ legislation as liberal states repealed bans on partial-birth abortions.
The Illinois House passed a controversial pro-choice bill last week; repealing the state’s ban on partial birth abortions that may occur in late stage pregnancies.
“After a lengthy and emotional debate, the Illinois House passed a controversial abortion rights bill Tuesday that opponents characterized as extreme but supporters say is necessary to protect women as several states enact more restrictive laws,” reports the Chicago Tribune.
“The bill would repeal the Illinois Abortion Law of 1975 and its provisions that called for spousal consent, waiting periods, criminal penalties for physicians who perform abortions and other restrictions on facilities where abortions are performed. The bill would establish ‘the fundamental right’ of a pregnant woman to have an abortion and states that ‘a fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent rights,’” adds the article.
The legislation -titled the Reproductive Health Act- repeals Illinois’ ban on ‘partial birth abortions’ that may occur in late-stage pregnancy.
“Today, Illinois says we are better than this war on women,” Chicago Democrat Rep. Kelly Cassidy said. “Illinois says we trust women. Please join me in saying that loud and clear: ‘We trust women.’”
GILLIBRAND GOES OFF: NY Senator Slams Trump for ‘NOT ACKNOWLEDGING’ Her Hard Work
Ultra-liberal New York Senator and potential 2020 challenger Kirsten Gillibrand unloaded on President Trump this week; slamming the Commander-in-Chief after he questioned her ability to “get things done” in Congress during a fiery speech.
The President called out Gillibrand during a televised address in Utica, New York Monday; asking the crowd “Has she gotten anything done?”
Gillibrand fired-back on social media just hours later, saying “The President refuses to acknowledge the work I’ve gotten done. Sound familiar, ladies?”

Gillibrand made national headlines weeks ago when she called for the total abolishment of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency; saying the department was fundamentally broken and should be replaced.
GILLIBRAND: Access to ‘Social Security’ is a ‘Right’ for Every Illegal Immigrant in the US
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand left millions of Americans scratching their heads during a campaign stop this week; calling social security a “right” for all illegal immigrants “in this country now.”
Gillibrand was speaking with supporters on the campaign trail when she pushed her calls for a “comprehensive immigration reform” package that includes access to social security and a pathway to citizenship.
“What will I do? I have a lot of ideas. First, we need comprehensive immigration reform. If you are in this country now, you must have the right to pay into social security, to pay your taxes, to pay into the local school system, and to have a pathway to citizenship. That must happen,” said Gillibrand to widespread applause.
