SENATOR SCHIFFTY?! Rep Adam Schiff Announces Run for U.S. Senate, Wants to Replace Feinstein

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.26.23

Schiff is eyeing a Senate seat.

According to a message shared on Twitter on Thursday, Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, who was recently kicked off the House Intelligence Committee for lying to the American people, is running for a Senate seat in California.

Schiff will be running for Sen. Diane Feinstein’s seat. Feinstein, 89, has not yet announced plans to run for re-election.

“Our democracy is at great risk. Because GOP leaders care more about power than anything else. And because our economy isn’t working for millions of hard working Americans. We’re in the fight of our lives—a fight I’m ready to lead as California’s next U.S. Senator,” Schiff tweeted.

“I wish I could say the threat of MAGA extremists is over,” he said in a video on Twitter. “It is not. Today’s Republican Party is gutting the middle class, threatening our democracy. They aren’t going to stop. We have to stop them.”

And, of course, Schiff asked for money to help him run his “people-powered” campaign.

“I can’t run for U.S. Senate in California without you. Our campaign is people-powered, and we won’t accept a cent of corporate PAC $. Your support allows us to organize and fight back. Chip in today, and show you’re with our team on Day One.”
