SEN. HARRIS: ‘No Reason’ to Have ‘Assault Weapons in a Civil Society’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.29.19

Sen. Kamala Harris weighed-in on the national gun-control debate Monday evening; telling a town hall event in Iowa that there’s “no reason” to have “assault weapons in a civil society.”

Harris was speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper when she was asked to comment on her possible positions regarding the Second Amendment should she win the presidency in 2020.

“We have got to have smart gun safety laws in this country, and we’ve got to stop buying this false choice. You can be in favor of the Second Amendment and also understand that there is no reason in a civil society that we have assault weapons around communities that can kill babies and police officers,” Harris said.

EX-ICE BOSS ON HANNITY: Kamala Harris Should Apologize for ‘DISGUSTING’ KKK Comparison

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.20.18

Former ICE Director Tom Homan stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to weigh-in on Sen. Kamala Harris’ recent comments comparing federal immigration agents to the KKK; saying she should be “ashamed” for her “disgusting” remarks.

“First of all, what Kamala Harris did was disgusting. She compared the 20,000 men and women of ICE, the same men and women that strap a gun to their hip and defend this nation; to compare them to such a hate group is just disgusting,” said Homan.

“For her, as a US Senator, to make that comparison… she failed the American people. ICE is enforcing the law that Congress enacted. They’re not making this up. Shame on her,” he added.

FORMER ICE CHIEF: ‘I wanted to THROW UP’ After Kamala Harris Compared Agency to KKK

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.16.18

The former chief of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency slammed Sen. Kamala Harris Thursday night after she viciously drew parallels between the federal law enforcement department and the Ku Klux Klan.

Former acting director Thomas Homan was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to comment on Harris’ bizarre remarks; saying “I don’t think an apology would even be accepted at this point.”

“I wanted to throw up. She and me disagree on a lot of things. What she did today, I don’t think an apology would even be accepted at this point,” Homan told Fox News Thursday night. “What she did was disgusting. She put her political ambition to be president ahead of the truth and ahead of the dignity of the men and women who serve this country.”
