Rep. George Santos (R-NY), who fabricated most of his resume to get elected to Congress, has announced he will recuse himself from committee assignments; Santos shared the news at a Republican conference meeting on Tuesday morning.

Santos is facing pressure from both sides of the aisle to step down in the wake of his innumerable lies to the American people. So far, the embattled congressman has insisted he’s not going anywhere.
