‘SAFE SPACES’: San Fran School Board Votes to Rename Schools Honoring Washington, Lincoln, MORE

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.27.21

The San Francisco School Board voted this week to rename schools honoring George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and other historical figures because of their “racial history,” a move that will cost taxpayers upwards of $400,000.

“The American icons were among a list of historical figures whose names will be removed from San Francisco’s public schools following a 6-1 vote by the school board Tuesday, according to multiple reports. Washington and Jefferson were both slave owners and Lincoln, who ended slavery, became controversial because critics claim he oppressed indigenous people,” reports Fox News.

“The presidents were among a long list of men and women whose namesake schools will soon be renamed. Others on the list include Francis Scott Key, who wrote the words to the national anthem, former presidents William McKinley, James Garfield, James Monroe, and Herbert Hoover, Revolutionary War hero Paul Revere and author Robert Louis Stevenson, according to the San Francisco Chronicle,” adds Fox.

CORTEZ CONFUSION: Cortez Compares Herself to Franklin Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.04.19

Newly sworn-in Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has high-hopes for her ‘Green New Deal’ project; directly comparing her “radical” program with similar initiatives by Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

Cortez was speaking with Anderson Cooper when he called-out the self-described Democratic Socialist for her “radical” agenda heading into the new congressional session.

“I think it has only ever been radicals who have changed this country. Abraham Lincoln made the radical decision to sign the Emancipation Proclamation. Franklin Delano Roosevelt made the radical decision to embark on establishing programs like Social Security. That is radical,” said Cortez.

The incoming legislator found herself in hot-water just weeks ago after she directly compared the ‘migrant caravan’ in Tijuana with “Jewish families” fleeing Nazi atrocities during the Second World War.

ALL OUT WAR: Governor Brown Says TRUMP 'AT WAR' with the State of California

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.18

California Governor Jerry Brown slammed the Trump administration Wednesday afternoon following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ address to law enforcement officials in Sacramento; saying the White House has declared “war” against his state.

The Governor was speaking with reporters at the state Capitol when he viciously attacked Sessions’ remarks, claiming it was “unprecedented” that the federal government would “basically go to war” against California.

“This is really unprecedented for the chief law enforcement officer of the United States to come out to California and act more like Fox News than a law enforcement officer. This is a political stunt,” said the liberal leader. “We know the Trump administration is full of liars. They’ve pled guilty already to the special counsel.”

“This is basically going to war against the state of California, the engine of the American economy. It’s not wise, it’s not right, and it will not stand,” Brown added.

The Governor’s harsh rhetoric was a stark rebuke to the Attorney General’s comments from earlier Wednesday, when the nation’s top law enforcement official re-affirmed that “federal law” is the “supreme law of the land.”

“There is no nullification. There is no secession. Federal law is the supreme law of the land. I would invite any doubters to go to Gettysburg, to the tombstones of John C. Calhoun and Abraham Lincoln. This matter has been settled,” Sessions said.
