During a hearing on the Hill on Wednesday, a senior official serving as the acting Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Ha Nguyen McNeill, shared some startling stats about the Schumer Shutdown that’s holding up funding for DHS and TSA.

“This fiscal year, TSA has been shut down for 50% of the time,” McNeill said. “This level of disruption is unprecedented and unacceptable, and significantly undermines the security of U.S. transportation systems.”
