Rudy Giuliani issued a stark warning to the special counsel’s office this week; saying Robert Mueller should be “investigated” for the intentional “destruction of evidence” surrounding anti-Trump text messages at the Department of Justice.
The president’s lawyer was speaking with the Hill Thursday when he blasted Mueller for hiding digital communications between senior DOJ officials during the 2016 election and beyond.
“Mueller should be investigated for destruction of evidence for allowing those text messages from Strzok to be erased, messages that would show the state of mind and tactics of his lead anti-Trump FBI agent at the start of his probe,” Giuliani said.

The DOJ Inspector General concluded earlier this month that messages between Strzok and Page had been deleted prior to handing over the devices.

RUDY ON FIRE: Giuliani SLAMS Hillary for ‘Obstruction, Destruction, Incivility’
Former Big Apple Mayor Rudy Giuliani unloaded on twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton Wednesday; blasting the former Secretary of State for threatening “continued obstruction and destruction” heading into the 2018 midterms.
“WOW: Hillary Clinton has said there will be no civility in American politics until Democrats are in control. She is threatening continued obstruction, destruction and incivility unless you do what she wants. Democrat agenda is impeachment; Republican making America even greater,” tweeted Rudy.

Giuliani was referring to Clinton’s recent interview where she claimed there could be “no civility” in Washington without a Democratic take-over this November.
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe if we’re fortunate enough to win back the House or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again,” said Clinton.
RUDY ON FIRE: Giuliani Says He's Ready to ‘RIP APART’ Mueller Probe
Presidential lawyer and former Big Apple Mayor Rudy Giuliani urged the special counsel to end his probe “as soon as possible” Wednesday, saying his legal team was prepared to “rip apart” Mueller’s “unfair report.”
Giuliani was speaking with Fox News when he was asked about a potential “timeline” for an end to Mueller’s probe as it entered its second year, saying “they should do it today.”
“What is your optimal timeline for this to wrap up?” asked Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
“They should do it today. I mean as soon as possible. I think that they have the facts from which they can write their report,” fired-back Giuliani. “If you can write a fair report fine, then write it.”
“If you’re going to write an unfair report, write it and we will combat it. We’re ready to rip it apart,” he added. “And we’re ready to rip them apart if that’s what they want. We’d rather peacefully settle this and get it over with.”
