Florida Senator Marco Rubio spoke with Sean Hannity on Monday on The Sean Hannity radio show about the two biggest issues facing the country: the economy and the border crisis.

“Republicans have the numbers, they have the strength if they just unite around two big items: One, is insist on securing our borders, which means bringing back the Trump policies that work. And, number 2: someone has got to get a hold of this massive budget deficit we have every year…we can’t afford to live this way,” Hannity says before introducing Rubio.

“I think we got these major issues that play out over time,” Rubio says. “The debt is one of them — it’s just unsustainable…we keep kicking the can down the road and we can’t much longer…I think the most pressing issue before the country…are two things: One, is life is just way more expensive, I don’t care what Biden says. And two, we’re being invaded.”

Rubio laments the Senate walking away from pushing for security at the southern border. Hannity stresses we’re approaching ten million undocumented illegal migrants under Biden.

“I listened to Mayorkas again this weekend say ‘We’re not responsible for any of this, we had nothing to do with any of this.’ And I’m saying ‘yeah, you did — your policies actually made it worse!;” Hannity tells Rubio about Mayorkas’ failures at the border.

“The reason we have an invasion is because they aren’t applying the law! Joe Biden is the first President in American history who made the decision to release, not detain, but release every single illegal adult who comes to our country across the border,” Rubio says.
