TROUBLED WATERS: GOP Introduces Legislation to CENSURE Maxine, Urge Resignation
Republican lawmakers introduced legislation Tuesday to officially censure Rep. Maxine Waters and call for her resignation; a major step towards punishing the firebrand liberal after she urged supporters to harass Trump officials.
Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona sponsored the bill, demanding Waters apologize for her harsh rhetoric and adding her comments could lead to physical violence and personal danger for Cabinet members and their families.
“Representative Waters comments could directly and unnecessarily lead to public unrest, physical violence, and physical injury,” said the resolution, adding Waters’ remarks “do not contribute anything positive to the public dialogue.”
The California congressman made national headlines this week after she urged her supporters to harass Trump aides at “gas stations” and “department stores” over his immigration policies.
“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” she said.
TROUBLED WATERS: Mad Maxine Accuses Betsy DeVos of the ‘Destruction of CIVIL RIGHTS’
Future chairwoman Maxine Waters unloaded on Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos Friday; bizarrely claiming the senior Trump official was overseeing the “destruction of civil rights protections” for American students.
Waters posted her baseless statement on social media, writing “Betsy DeVos, you won’t get away with what you are doing. We are organizing to put an end to your destruction of civil rights protections for students.”

The firebrand Congresswoman’s comments come just days after Waters unloaded on President Trump; demanding the Commander-in-Chief “keep his mouth shut” while discussing “issues he has no knowledge of.”
