Disgraced former Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe publicly admitted the DOJ considered invoking the 25th Amendment and removing President Trump from office this week; saying Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to wear a secret recording device “more than once.”
“McCabe confirms in their interview that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein offered to wear a wire in meetings with President Trump. Previously, a Justice Department statement claimed that Rosenstein made the offer sarcastically, but McCabe said it was taken seriously,” reports CBS News.
“McCabe in [the 60 Minutes] interview says no, it came up more than once and it was so serious that he took it to the lawyers at the FBI to discuss it,” added 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley.

DAY OF RECKONING: GOP Lawmakers Introduce Bill to IMPEACH ROD ROSENSTEIN
GOP legislators introduced legislation Thursday night to impeach Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; claiming Sessions’ second-in-command was stonewalling their investigation into the ongoing Russia probe and defying Congressional subpoenas.
Rep. Mark Meadows confirmed the bill on social media, saying “I just filed a resolution with @Jim_Jordan and several colleagues to impeach Rod Rosenstein. The DOJ has continued to hide information from Congress and repeatedly obstructed oversight–even defying multiple Congressional subpoenas. We have had enough.”

“The impeachment articles come as evidence continues to mount regarding the Department of Justice’s problematic decision making during the 2016 campaign and conduct surrounding the transition to President Trump’s administration in 2017,” the statement read.
“For 9 months we’ve warned them consequences were coming, and for 9 months we’ve heard the same excuses backed up by the same unacceptable conduct. Time is up and the consequences are here. It’s time to find a new Deputy Attorney General who is serious about accountability and transparency,” added the statement.

BOMBSHELL: McCabe Admits He Ordered Obstruction Probe, Confirms DOJ Considered ‘Removing’ Trump
Former Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe publicly admitted Wednesday night that began an “obstruction of justice” investigation after President Trump fired disgraced bureau chief James Comey from the agency.
“Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe in a new interview reveals new details of the investigations into President Trump, telling CBS that there were conversations about the possibility of removing Trump under the 25th amendment and confirming that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had offered to wear a wire around the president,” reports The Hill.
“There were meetings at the Justice Department at which it was discussed whether the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet could be brought together to remove the president of the United States under the 25th Amendment,” added CBS News’ Scott Pelley.
“I was very concerned that I was able to put the Russia case on absolutely solid ground, in an indelible fashion,” McCabe said. “That were I removed quickly, or reassigned or fired, that the case could not be closed or vanish in the night without a trace.”
